Dual Circular Polarization Fabry–Pérot Resonant Antennas Based on Meta-Surface

A dual circular polarization Fabry–Pérot resonant antenna is proposed in this paper. The consists of a microstrip radiator and meta-surface. Meta-surface applied into the design (FP) cavity for generating two circularly polarized (CP) beams. When meta-surface functions as partially reflecting surface with top C-gaps array, dielectric substrate holes periodically arranged around atoms bottom metal plate strip gaps, would split an LP wave from feed left-hand CP right-hand waves by rotating to form prescribed phase gradients. Simulation measurement results show that capable radiation beams pointing at 18° −18° 14.9 GHz stable gain over 22.7 dBic aperture efficiency 25.7%. technique offers efficient way fulfill FP antennas specific characteristics using more advanced functionalities.
